I primi passi fotografici di Isaia quando, neofita poco più che ventenne, scende per strada con la macchina fotografica cercando di capire l’esposizione, la messa a fuoco, la profondità di campo.
Impresa piuttosto complessa cogliere l'attimo nei lontani anni sessanta: gli apparecchi fotografici sono interamente manuali, senza l'ausilio degli zoom, di esposizione e messa a fuoco automatica e dei motori per incrementare il numero degli scatti.
Ne risulta il ritratto di un'Italia in un periodo storico cruciale, quello dell’emigrazione dal sud e del boom economico, offerto attraverso immagini di vita quotidiana "rubate" dall’obiettivo e reinterpretate con ironia.
Rese ancora più potenti dal bianco e nero, che rende la quotidianità degna di riflessione, permettendo di assaporarla e facendo volare la fantasia..

Isaia's first photographic wail when, a neophyte in his early twenties, he goes down the street with his camera trying to understand what is exposure, focus and cam depth.
Rather complex undertaking to seize the moment in the remote sixties: the cameras are entirely manual, without the aid of zoom, exposure, automatic focus and motors to increase the number of shots.
The result is the portrait of an Italy in a crucial historical period, the one of emigration from the south and economic boom, offered through images of daily life "stolen" from the lens and reinterpreted with irony.
Made even more powerful by black and white, which makes everyday life worthy of reflection, allowing you to savor it and letting your imagination fly.
